Seconds - Metal Edge Boxes
  • Application

Seconds are ''scratch and dent'' products with minor flaws. They are still archival and safe for your collections, but they don't meet our rigorous aesthetic standards. We don't sell boxes with large dents or metal edging falling off. Many people who purchase our Seconds can't even find the flaw.

We manufacture our Metal Edge Boxes in Rochester, NY. When we are training an employee how to make them, we sometimes end up with Seconds as they learn the proper techniques.

Please note: seconds, discontinued, and discounted items are not eligible for return because they are as is clearance items.

Quantities are limited. If there are more items on your order than available, a refund will be issued to your original payment method.

Examples of why a metal edge box becomes a Second include: a box gets dropped and there's a minor dent, the metal edging isn't lined up evenly or it's cut incorrectly, or there's a scuff mark or scratch. See the image gallery for visual examples.

Box dimensions listed reflect the interior size of the box.
