Archival Solution of the Week: Collector Grade 3-Ring Binders

As one of the most versatile archival products we offer, Archival Methods’ Collector Grade 3-Ring Binders quickly bring order and organization to any collection of prints, photographs, postcards, letters, documents, slides and dozens of other types of collectibles and artifacts from your family archive.

One should not confuse these high-quality binders with inexpensive vinyl-clad “school binders” often found at your local office supply store. Many of those vinyl and other low quality binders are responsible for damaging problems such as image transfer, acid migration, and “out-gassing” (that unpleasant “vinyl / plastic” smell we’re all familiar with). It’s one thing if you are filing office papers, but if you are organizing valuable collectibles, family photographs and important memories you should only use binders that meet the very highest museum-quality standards: Archival Methods’ Collector Grade 3-Ring Binders!

Collector Grade 3-Ring Binders:
versatile & sleek, safe & secure!

Features: Crafted like fine books—and proudly made right here in the U.S.A. in Archival Methods’ own on-premises facility (see photos below)—our Collector Grade 3-Ring Binders are offered in your choice of four elegant colors: navy blue / forest green / red / black.

A high-quality binder board core is bound in library-grade buckram with an acid-free card stock lining. A premium slant-style D-ring assembly, with a rugged tab-actuated locking mechanism, is securely riveted to the back inside cover—rather than the spine—as this facilitates ease-of-use (see photos below). This D-ring design is used as it will hold more pages than traditional O-ring binders.
