Archival Methods is located in Rochester, New York, a few blocks west of the Genesee River at 655 Driving Park Avenue. Rochester nicknames include the “Flour City” and the “Flower City” because of the one-time prominence of flour mills and plant nurseries in the area. The Flower City moniker is still popular thanks to our numerous Olmsted-designed parks and the annual Lilac Festival in Highland Park.

If you live nearby and place an order with Archival Methods, you can choose to pick up your order in person at our warehouse. (Note that we do NOT have a retail store at the warehouse; this option is for online order pickup only.) We’ve recently updated our website to streamline this process.

Live in the Greater Rochester area? You can save on shipping costs by picking up your order at our warehouse. During checkout, you can select the option to pick-up your order in person. You will receive a confirmation email of receipt of your order and another email once your order is ready to be picked up.

The first checkout screen now looks like this. Once you click the checkbox for “Warehouse Pick-Up” the SHIP TO options will change to Name, Email, and Phone Number (see previous photo).

Free Local Pick-Up!

We have always offered free local pick-up at our Rochester, NY warehouse location. Now the ordering process is quick and easy! Simply place your order and submit payment online, then be sure to select the checkbox for Warehouse Pick Up – Rochester, NY. Once your order is ready, we will email you to let you know. Stop by Monday through Friday between 7:30am and 3:00pm ET to pick it up.

Archival Methods is located in a single-story blue and white warehouse building at 655 Driving Park Avenue. We are six blocks west of Dewey Avenue and easily accessed from Lake Avenue or Interstate 390/Mt. Read Blvd. Look for the Archival Methods logo on our awning, park out front, and ring the doorbell.

Local pick-ups are quick and convenient with our new checkout option.
Pickup hours are Monday – Friday from 7:30am – 3:00pm.

Shipping costs continue to increase. Consider our free local pick-up option if you live in the area or have some business to attend to in Rochester. Place your order online, and it will likely be ready within one to two business days (custom orders may take longer).
