Customers have been asking us to offer binder kits and we listened! Therefore we now offer three Collector Grade Binder Kits<\/a> and three Binder-in-Box Kits<\/a>. All the binder kits come with 50 Print Pages<\/a> in assorted sizes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with all of our products, these new kits provide safe, archival storage for your treasured keepsakes. The binders are made with acid-free, lignin-free, and buffered materials. They are handcrafted in our manufacturing facility in Rochester, NY. The pages are made of polypropylene, a plastic that passes the PAT<\/a> for archival storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collector Grade Narrow Binder Kit<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Narrow Binder Kit<\/a> is ideal for making an album that features 4 x 6 and 5 x 7 images. It’s perfect for making a vacation album that includes photos and postcards. It includes a Black Narrow 1-1\/2″ D-Ring Binder with a Black Slipcase, two Narrow Binder Page Lifters, 50 Print Pages, and a label. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This kit comes with (25) Caption Pocket 4 x 6 Pages<\/a> and (25) 5 x 7 Print Pages<\/a>. When you mount images back-to-back this kit will hold (100) 4 x 6 prints and (100) 5 x 7 prints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Collector Grade Binder Kits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Collector Grade Binder Kits<\/a> come in two additional sizes. You can opt for the standard 1-1\/2″ or 2-1\/2″ D-Ring Binders. All options come with a black binder and black slipcase. Slipcases offer another layer of protection against dust and other pollutants. They enhance the security of your collections by protecting the binder and contents on all sides. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

These kits come with Black Archival Page Lifters<\/a>, allowing you to flip binder contents easily from side to side without stressing punched holes. The 1-1\/2″ and 2-1\/2″ standard Binder Kits come with three different sizes of Print Pages<\/a> – (20) 8-1\/2 x 11 pages, (10) 5 x 7 pages, and (20) 4 x 6 pages. When you mount images back-to-back these kits hold (40) 8-1\/2 x 11 prints, (40) 5 x 7 prints, and (120) 4 x 6 pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Binder-in-Box Kits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Binder-in-Box Kits<\/a> are available in all three Metal Edge Box<\/a> colors – tan, black, and gray. They come with a matching set of two Archival Page Lifters. The Binder-in-Box is a metal edge clamshell box with a 1-1\/2″ O-ring binder mechanism inside. A less expensive option than the Collector Grade Binder Kits, they still offer great archival protection to your photos. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Binder-in-Box Kits come with the same 50 Print Pages as the Standard Collector Grade Binder Kits. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Look at Print Pages<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We offer several different styles of archival 3-Ring Binder Pages<\/a>. The Print Pages<\/a>, also called Pocket Pages, are one of the most popular styles we carry. They come in many sizes. We chose a combo pack of popular sizes – 4 x 6, 5 x 7, and 8-1\/2 x 11 – for the standard size kits (all except the Narrow Binder Kit).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 4 x 6 Page has three 4 x 6 pockets and measures 9-3\/8″ wide x 11-3\/8 high. The 5 x 7 Page has two 5 x 7 pockets and measures 8″ wide x 11-3\/8″ high. The 8-1\/2 x 11 page has one 8-1\/2 x 11 pocket and measures 9-1\/2 wide x 11-1\/2 high.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Made of clear polypropylene, these pages have a top loading pocket design. You can insert your photos without needing any adhesives. If you have some odd sized prints that are smaller than the pocket, we recommend purchasing archival Card Stock Inserts<\/a> to use as a backing material. You can also use it to separate old back-to-back photos for added protection. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It’s also good to use inserts to separate photos if the photos came out of an old adhesive “magnetic” album and have any residue left on them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Print Pages for Narrow Binders<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Narrow Binder Kit comes with a different set of binder pages. This is because the narrow dimension of this binder only accommodates some of the Print Pages that we carry. In the image above, the pages on top are the Caption Pocket 4 x 6 Pages<\/a>. These pages have two horizontal pockets for 4 x 6 prints with a caption pocket between them. Caption Pocket 4 x 6 Pages are the only Print Pages that come with White Card Stock. Other Print Pages in these kits do not. You can order Inserts separately, if desired.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 5 x 7 Print Pages measure 8″ wide x 11-3\/8″ high and can hold up to four 5 x 7 prints each. The Caption Pocket 4 x 6 Pages measure 7″ wide x 11-1\/2″ high. They can hold up to four 4 x 6 prints each.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of August 2024 we’ve added half an inch to the Narrow Binder design. This means that it can now also accommodate 3-1\/2 x 5 (52-013) and 8 x 10 (52-010) Print Pages.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
