Often called an \u201cArchival Shoe Box,\u201d our Short Top Box<\/a> is a general-purpose container that is perfectly suited for safely storing and protecting small flat items such as postcards<\/a> (see pix above), antique photographic images (tintypes \/ cartes-de-visite \/ cabinet cards \/ stereographs), negatives, sports cards, and even recipes! As always, it is recommended that any 3-dimensional items you are preserving in archival storage boxes also be placed in appropriately sized protective enclosures<\/a> such as an <\/span>archival polyethylene bag<\/a>; wrapped in sheets of <\/span>archival tissue<\/a> or <\/span>paper<\/a> (see pix above); or protected with <\/span>shredded archival tissue<\/a>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
