Application: Linen Tape is perfect for hinging window mats, map or pamphlet folders or for bookbinding applications. It's made of cambric-quality, tightly-woven linen which is acid-free, it contains no starch fillers and will not flake or become brittle. The pH-neutral, water-activated adhesive will securely hold the window mat to the backing board. Use the 1-1/2’’ tape for larger mats, over 20 inches long.

Tyvek is a white nonwoven polyethlene, resist tears, and is ideal for window mat hinges, folder spines, and book repairs. Pressure sensitive adhesive with a removable liner no water activation required. Adhesive is not reversible and should not be used directly on artwork.
Ordering Information: Note: Line tape should not be used directly on artwork. The thickness of the linen and the strength of the adhesive make this type of tape a poor choice for hinging artwork. Unfortunately this product was recommended for hinging artwork in some literature in the past.
