Application: Archival polyester film has many uses; since it’s a inert material it will not discolor or damage artwork. Uses include: interleaving photographs and prints (especially ink jet prints that are easily scuffed) encapsulating letters and documents, covering the window opening in mats. Polyester can be used to provide a barrier between archival material and surfaces containing acid such as work surfaces, storage shelves or in picture frames as a vapor barrier.

Features: Available in optically clear rolls and sheets. The sheets have a paper interleaf. This polyester is the equivalent of Mylar D or Melinex 516. Because polyester has a electrostatic charge it keeps items from slipping However, it makes the polyester film unacceptable for use with pastel and charcoal drawings.

Ordering Information: We can trim the sheets to the size you need. Send request in the special instruction box when ordering.
