Application: The Neutral 7 is a marker that identifies the acidity of paper. When a high acid content is present, a bright-yellow to yellow-orange will appear. Lime-green to dark green appears when tested paper is acid free. A blue to dark blue indicates an alkaline pH above 9. After application to paper; wait a few seconds to give the ink and paper time to react. Test on the back side, concealed area or a test strip of paper.

Features: Acid-Free/non-toxic, water based ink will stay bright-blue when paper is basic, while bright-yellow orange tells you a high acid level is present. The ideal color would consist of anything with a greenish tint. Pens have a color coded barrel for quick and easy identification of the reading.
