Application: Archival storage of garments, quilts, or other textiles. When used to store protein based materials, example (silk, wool) use un-buffered tissue; with vegetable based materials, such as (cotton) buffered or un-buffered tissue can be used.

 Textile Storage Kit contains: One Textile Storage Box 30x18x6, 2 pair white cotton gloves, 20 feet Un-Buffered tissue 24’’ wide, 1 reusable metal Desiccant Canisters to absorbs moisture; (it won't harm fabrics), and 1 polyethylene bag if the box will be stored where there is the risk of leaks the box can be placed in a polyethylene bag; do not place the fabric directly in the poly bag. Helpful conservation tips are also included.

Features: Corrugated boxes are easily assembled with the self-locking tab design and are manufactured from acid-free, lignin-free paper. For added protection from acidic migration the gray corrugated board has a 3% calcium carbonate buffering.

Interior dimensions are 28-3/4 x 17 x 6’’; with a 3’’ removable top. The 6" height allows you to keep fabrics loosely folded and padded with tissue to prevent creases. Exterior dimensions are 30x18x6-1/4’’ and are sold in package of 5 boxes.
